Lukas Waldner is Co-founder and COO of 21energy, where he builds energy-infrastructure services powered by Bitcoin mining. After finishing school, he dedicated himself fully to Bitcoin, spending more than two years organizing the largest german-language Bitcoin conference. In 2022, he co-founded 21energy and now leads operations to repurpose ASIC waste heat into high-efficiency Bitcoin space heaters and deploy mobile mining containers that deliver demand-response capacity as well as turning surplus electricity into revenue. Outside of Bitcoin, Lukas is an athlete and alpinist. Focused on fast-and-light ascents of technical routes in the Alps, Karakoram, and Himalaya.
