Here you can find all the general information regarding BTCHEL2025. If you have any additional questions, you can reach us via the email found in the “Contact During Event” section.

Registration & Entry

All attendees must have a valid ticket to enter BTCHEL.

  • Tickets must be presented at the door and will be exchanged for a wristband, which must be worn at all times inside the event.

  • Pre-registration is available to skip queues on event morning:
    • Date: Thursday, 14 August
    • Location: BTCHEL Popup, Mechelininkatu 12–14, Helsinki
    • Time: 10:00 – 18:00

  • VIPs and speakers may also pre-register at their VIP Reception Dinner on 14 August.

Same-day registration opens at the event venue during official opening hours.

  • Location: Korjaamo, Töölönkatu 51 A–B, 00250 Helsinki
  • Dates & Opening hours: 
      • Friday, 15 August: 8AM – 8PM (Terrace open until 11PM)
      • Saturday, 16 August: 9AM – 6PM

  • Parking: Extremely limited, nearest parking are Mäntymäen kenttä (Mäntymäentie 1) and P-Töölö (Töölönkatu 23-25), both with tolls.

  • Public Transport: Korjaamo is easily reached by tram and bus. Trams 1, 4 and 10 arrive near the event venue. AB ticket required. Check the schedules and routes from HSL.

  • Age Limit: Children are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian during venue opening hours. The Afterparty is strictly 18+. If you wish to purchase alcohol during the event, please bring a valid photo ID.

  • Payment Methods:
    • Exhibitors: Each vendor uses their own chosen payment method — most accept Bitcoin and cash.
    • Venue bars/restaurants: Accept Bitcoin and credit/debit cards; the main bar also accepts cash.
    • Need cash? The nearest ATM is just around the block: Otto ATM location.

  • Food and Beverages: No outside food or drinks may be brought into the venue. Inside Korjaamo you’ll find several bars and a variety of food options.

  • Photography Notice: Event staff will take photos and videos during BTCHEL for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed and filmed. If you want our photographer to avoid you please get a “No Photo” tag from the registration point.

  • Language: The main event language is English. Some sessions may be in Finnish; check the schedule.

  • Lost & Found: Located at the Registration desk. Unclaimed items after the event will be kept for one week at the BTCHEL popup before taken to Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, the following are not allowed at the event: 

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • Firearms, knives, or any other dangerous items 
  • Outside food and drinks are also not permitted inside the venue

Security will confiscate any prohibited items and may remove the individual from the event area if necessary.

In case of a medical emergency or if you need first aid, please contact the nearest security staff member immediately.

The main event spaces at Korjaamo — Vaunusali, Kulmasali and Vintti — are wheelchair accessible. Vintti can be reached by elevator via a secondary entrance; please ask staff at the info point for directions if you need elevator access.

There are accessible toilets located at both toilet areas.

Please note that some entrances are paved with old cobblestones, and the outdoor area includes raised terrace sections. There are no dedicated raised platforms for wheelchairs inside the event spaces.

Personal assistants may enter the event free of charge.
